2010 4runner Idle rough problem

Hello, I traded my FJ for a new 4runner, it now has 1700 miles and has vibrated since new when engine has reached normal operating temp and stopped at a light. It fluctuates on and off, my guess is when the electric fan turns on since it does it with or without a/c. It is noticeable and the vibration shakes both front seats, I also feel it in the break pedal. Dealer says it is normal and they test drove 2 other and did the same thing (so they say). I have used premium gas to see if it made a difference and it did not. I owned a 2005 4runner and 2007 FJ, none did this and I might add not being picky here. I can't imagine driving a car that runs this way for years to come. Any one else having this problem? any solution ideas?
Thanks, Rob.

Hey man I posted about that a couple of months ago..Didn’t have anyone say they had the same problem. Yeah so it happens when you have the car in gear and your foot on the brake like when you're waiting at say a red light or at a fast food drive through. I have noticed that when the a/c is off it no longer vibrates or if you slip the car into neutral.(fyi mine is a 4x2) My 08 fj didn't have that prob nor did the 3 other 4 runners my parents have owned in the past. I been meaning to take it in and have it diagnosed..just been so busy with work! In a weird kind of way it's comforting to know someone else is having this same issue..if you get it looked at before me keep a brutha updated will ya?
Thanks
Brian

I notice its a little rough idle too, but so minimal, nothing major. I have 4x4 SR5 V6 and it has 2,900 on it. I own many Toyota brand but never own a 4Runner, I thought its normal because of truck base.

I already took it to the dealer, they said no codes or errors, everything checks fine. It does it in neutral or engaged, with and without the a/c running. I have noticed the rpms go anywhere from 500 to 900. But the rough idle happens at around 750 rpms, not at 500 like you would think would be normal if idle is that low. I am sure this is not normal. It runs as it should for about half hour from a cold start. After that is all on and off legs massage. This is a 4x2 6 cyl. And like most things go in life when trying to prove something the vibration was normal to minimal when at the dealer. Very disappointed for now.

These engines do idle rougher then the old 4.0L as they idle at a low rpm. The way to see for yourself if yours is abnormal is have a friend or relative take you to other dealers and test drive a few other 4runners.Long test rides acting genuinely interested in buying! If there are other dealers in your area.

If yours is significantly different then take yours back to your dealer and call BS that they are all like that.
