As a die hard Canucks fan I completely agree. Boston deserved it and wanted it more than the Canucks. I am happy for Tim Thomas too he was brilliant all series and playoff long. Well played Boston, Well played.

As far as the riots, its amazing how a few thousand idiots can make an entire city look absolutly pathetic.

I agree. A bunch of my friends were at the game and they are saying that on the way to the game they did not see one police officer. The police made a statement here before the game that they were ready for anything. No cops = people acting like idiots. The police really dropped the ball in Vancouver, They should have anticipated the riots win or loose and should have had a heavy presence downtown to prevent it from getting out of hand. There is tons of photo and video evidence of the looters and they will be prosecuted.

The post-game looting and rioting is something I'll never understand. There are the people who start it and then the people who see others doing it, figure it's then somehow OK and then join in. I say instead of jail time, the punishment is that a bunch of people get to go over to their places and get to loot and trash their property.
