2012 roof rack removal

I wanted to make sure the rack on the '12'scan be removed like the previous years. Can someone confirm? Thanks!

Just pop off the endcaps and go for it! Just a few screws.

Just be cautious not to strip out the threads when you go back and install your aftermarket rack. Also, if you are installing another (Bajarack or Gobi) be sure and use the "Secret Antman Trick" and dab some silicone around the edges of the sleeves.

Well, I dunno specifically about the '12... but others have done it on 5th gens.

Quick visual on my neighbors looks like its exactly the same. Follow the other "rack removal" threads, you should be ok.
