2013 TE deal good?

New to the forum, I have an opportunity to pick up a new 2013 4runner trail edition for 33k. It has under 100 miles and the dealer is motivated to sell. Just wanted to check if that's a good deal or where I should be at for negotiation. Should I be shooting lower since it's a year old? Been on the lot 300+ days.

It has kdds, navi entune, msrp 41,080.
I'd appreciate any feedback!

wow... 33k?! I'd jump on that. I emailed all the dealerships with 2013 TEs in socal and the lowest I was able to get around socal was 36k 1-2 months ago. So I probably know one of the dealerships you're probably talking to. They were "motivated" to sell it to me at 36k-37k and so i said no. And since these ppl were not willing to budge, I went and got a 2014 for only a little more. 33k is a steal!

Make sure there's nothing wrong with it though.

That's a great price for 2013 with KDSS, exactly a month ago I was looking to do the same thing , the best price I got was 37K and some change. so I got the 2014 trail with a better deal. Just FYI if it concerns you, now Toyota offers a deal for 2014. I did the math and actually found that after 5 years the 2014 will be cheaper because of the deal!

At $41,080 this sounds like the price for a Trail model? That's one smoking deal if this vehicle has never been damaged or registered, and your manufacture warranty starts the day you drive off the lot.

Back in November when the '14 model was just reaching showrooms, I paid $34,750. with the same options on a Trail. That was even with an all but unheard of $2,000. rebate from Toyota.

This price is even better, as bruindave mentions just make sure there's not some hidden issue.

Very good deal. I got my '12 for 36k with 7 miles. My suggestion would be to wait until it has about 300 miles....should cost about 15k at that point

sounds too good to be true. 300+ days of carrying cost would certainly motivate a dealer, however...

That is a very good deal. In 2013 I bought a new 2012 TE (KDSS and NAV) that had been at the dealership for about 8 months. Not much of a market here for the TE model. I had been looking all over to find one. I was really happy with my deal of $35,500. I tried very hard to negotiate a few extras, but that was their rock bottom price.
