Ok I have it all wired up. Only issue is lighted logo stays on all the time. Text portion of switch comes on with running lights.

The only time (if Wired Correctly) the text should light is when the running lights are on. Only time the Logo should light is when you depress switch to make the LED Light Bar energize.


Double check everything!

Text lights fine. Will go through it all again. I used a rigid wire harness so maybe something isn't jiving. It stayed lit when I connected the blue to green.

You may be able to get [MENTION=133346]BradBrad619[/MENTION] to ship you some if he has any left or use a jig saw to cut the slots once secured in a vice.

Success! So apparently the rigid wire harness and the AOB switch are not colored the same . Green/yellow on AOB goes to red on rigid and red/yellow goes to relay. Blue/yellow to wiper de-icer green will give you dash lights tied to parking lights. Then of course black to ground. Works like a charm. I actually could not sleep until I figured it out. Thanks to all for the help and push to double check Saker!

Does you switch dim with the rest of the dash lights?
If not, tie you AOB Switch ground wire to the grey wire on the de-icer switch.
That is a ground that will allow your switch to dim!

I custom made some behind the grill 20" light bar mounts for 2014-2016 models. I decided to have extra sets cut out, hoping to help out some fellow members that need a quality way to mount a light bar behind the grill. The mounts are 100% water jet cut, tig welded, 6061 aluminum. They bolt directly to the aluminum crossmember behind the lower portion of the bumper by drilling and tapping (4) 1/4-20 holes in the aluminum X-member.

If you need a set shoot me a PM, price is set to recoup the costs of material, water jetting, and weld time. I can assure you won't find a better behind the grill mounting solution for a better price.

Hi all, Just wanted to share my experience with these brackets from [MENTION=133346]BradBrad619[/MENTION]

I asked Brad a few questions before seriously considering them, and he was really helpful. I thought the price was great for a custom fabbed item, and I sent payment via PayPal soon after talking with him. I told him I wasn't in a big hurry, and I still received them within 7 days of sending payment (I live on the east coast).

Super high quality stuff. I thought a few times that I could just make my own brackets and save a few bucks, but I'm so glad I didn't. These take all the guess work out of mounting the lights. Everything centers up so nicely, and fits right in place. A lot of thought went in to these. I have a 16TE, and couldn't be happier with fitment, build quality, and appearance.

I sprayed mine black before mounting, and reamed out the holes where the light mounts to the bracket, because my mounting bolts are a little big. Was no problem, since it's aluminum. Once dry, I removed the plastic shroud at the front of the engine compartment (done with no tools in about 90 seconds). I set the two brackets on the aluminum cross member behind the bumper cover, and then slid the light bar in place. I connected the bar to the brackets, centered it left to right, and marked the holes that are pre-drilled in the bottom of the brackets. I took the light bar out, so I'd have more room to work, and attached the brackets with 2 self tapping zinc screws per bracket. Never even took off the grill insert. I slid the light bar back in to place, tightened the bolts, put the shroud back on, and done. Now I need to wire it, but that's for another day. This job was stupid easy, thanks to the brackets. Anybody on the fence should pull the trigger. You won't regret it. For the record, my light bar is sold as a 24", but that's from end of bezel to end of bezel, so the lit surface is a little smaller. I couldn't have gotten away with much bigger, but I'm very happy with this one. Thanks, Brad!
