So adjust them. It is very easy, just takes a phillips screwdriver. There is a plastic channel leading to a metal adjuster gear that the #2 phillips fits into.

Agreed and it's on my list...

Currently it's in the garage and I'm 1,500km away...but still I've been procrastinating for a while. No excuse!

Prove me wrong. You have nothing to base your decision on. You're speculating based on testing done in DIFFERENT applications, not this one. The ironic thing is, we're both deferring to our calibrated eyeballs as neither of us has factual data.

The Retrofit Police... do not try to prove them wrong. They LOVE to deter people from doing retrofit, even if they will never, ever see you on the road, with all your dreaded glare and their burned retinas. Makes me laugh everytime, like if it was the most important thing in the world.

The thing is, I've seen simple retrofit in halogen projectors, and it does not produce any more glare than all the stock HID in projectors I see passing by. Sure, I would not do a retrofit in a stock non-projector headlamp, but that is not the point here. Do what you have to do, and thanks for sharing the information, and just let them do their things.

Another scientist. For the record, what info or facts were actually presented saying this was fine. None, so no one actually tried to prove the so called retrofit police wrong. Also I didn't hear anyone say not to do a proper retrofit. Why wouldn't you do a retrofit in a halogen projector? I think you have your terms / possibly understanding confused. I'm going to assume that you really don't mean a retrofit and really mean just installing a PnP HID Kit.

Anyone has any idea what he used for his FOG HID and REVERSE HID? And which LED he used for his TRUNK?

The reverse is a 921 bulb, I didn't know that you can stick an HID in that!!

They don't make a kit that will fit a 921 bulb. They are just pulling the old bulb and using JB Weld, bondo, sealant, etc to hold it in. They also have to run power from the battery to the back for them and find a place to mount the ballasts in the rear.

Thanks for your response. HID for reverse in the reverse light location, seemingly not worth the effort.....

I am planning on some rack mounted rear facing lights anyways. Just need to figure out how to wire them in so that it can either be turned on "on demand" or "automatic with the reverse lights".
