Holy bad angle! They will look better once people start modding, but that is a rough front end. 2010-2013 trail is the looker of the 5th Gens. Cool FJ in the background!!It is hard to believe that Toyota went from:

This from your post sums up my opinion, wow, I'm so happy I have a 2010. That front IMHO is horrible. Maybe its better in person, at least I hope so. Wow

I have never owned a Durango, but have a few friends that made this fateful mistake. Yes I warned them to get a Tacoma/T4R/Highlander, but life is about choices. They ALL made the wrong choice, and are ALL driving Toyota products now.
It is rear wheel drive. As with most people who buy such vehicles, I have no need or desire to go off road. That is why the 4Runner and Durango are direct competitors for most buyers. I see plenty of both in southern California, and most never even travel a gravel driveway. My Explorer has traveled on gravel and across dirt construction sites, but only a very few times in the past seven years.I do not think that guys Exploder even has low range if it is 4x4. Useless vehicle to me.
A handy chart of all 2013 and 2014 AWD/4WD SUV's and fuel economy: Fuel Economy
Interesting that Lexus priced the 2014 GX460 at $49k msrp for the base model, down 9% y/y.
:mad2:
Hurry up and get it on your website Toyota!
The first shipment of production '14s landed in Hawaii -- there were around 20 -25 viewable from the street in front of the distribution center. Not sure when they'll hit the lots, but I'd guess relatively soon (probably timed with the national release).
The white SR5 sure reminded me of my '05. The side profile of the new Limited looks better in person than in pics. And the new tails don't look as "after-market" as I initially thought they would from the press pics.

I drove by earlier today to check them out, and they sure look better in person. I wasn't a fan of the limited, but seeing it in real life changed my mind. The dark blue is great looking though! Might have to trade my tacoma in for one...The first shipment of production '14s landed in Hawaii -- there were around 20 -25 viewable from the street in front of the distribution center. When I bought my 12 LE I loved it, and wished that the only thing that I would want more is memory seat and ventilated seats.....Now the 14 has them I may be looking at one of those...maybe a 15 or 16. I rarely buy first gen of a new model, just in case.......
As for the Lexus GX, I think they look great, have great interiors and have all the bells and whistles, but C'Mon, that HUGE rear Barn door and no rear window that slides open.......Er Nah!
The GX should basically be the t4r rebadged, with lexus amenities and a v8. More like the 06 lx470. Some of their design/styling decisions make no sense.
