2014 4Runner

No moonroof on TE models for 2014?

There are two TE models now standard and premium. The premium has moonroof, heated/vented seats, plus premium audio/nav/homelink. I may have missed something but that are the major differences I noticed.

I saw a SR5 in blue, what a gorgeous color, nice ride for sure, after seeing that front end after 6 weeks it still hasn't grown on me.

If only I've waited a little longer. I bought a brand new '13 TE because I wasn't sure the '14 front end was going to grow on me. I love everything about '14 interior on all trim level.

Ventilated seats are not available on the TE at all (I wish they were!). Ventilated seats are only on the Limited.

Thanks for the scan. Official MPG is now down to 16/21/18 - not complaining, just an observation which is probably closer to reality anyway.

Why do you suppose there's a discrepancy between the brochure and the EPA ratings, which still lists 17 mpg city? Gov't shutdown?

honestly i dont know. last years 4x4 LE shows 17/21 and the 4x2 LE 17/22.

so probably another misprint since looking on kbb.com shows 17/21 for the 2014 4x4 LE

I'd say it's much like the highway mileage in that it's probably hovering around 16.5, so there's probably some misinformation about what numbers are being used.

Saw a silver SR5 premium yesterday at Carlsbad Toyota and it looked awesome! The front end is sooo much better in person. It just doesn't photograph well. I wasn't sure on the two tone gray and black soft-tex in the SR5, but actually it looks super sharp. I'm ordering one up when I get back home from vacation!!

I just got a 2013 TE too, still on the fence I really like the older style better but the blue I tell you is almost enough to convert me over but not quite :)

True true! Sorry my bad, that small text, I saw heated and assumed ventilated was in there too. TEP comes with:

SofTex@-trimmed, heated front seats; 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar support; 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat

Oh BTW Mark Miller SLC Ut has a Blue SR5 and a Black Limited as of yesterday afternoon.

Got a text from Jeff Haskins at Jim Barkley Toyota. The got two of them in this morning.

A Barcelona Red/Black Leather Limited with 3rd row. (Sold before it arrived!)

A Magnetic Gray/Black Cloth Trail. (No sunroof, no KDSS) I went to see the Trail this evening and they already had a spacer lift under it with 33 inch BFG A/T's!!

Without the overhang that the 10-13's had at the bottom of the bumper, it looked really tall when lifted. Overall though, I am really glad I got a 13. I just can't get with the front end. And while I do like the all black door panels, the painted parts of the dash and console had a TON of metallic to them. I like the black, but so much metallic looked like boat paint! Still with the gray headliners and pillars Toyota?
