You don't use a capacitor, you use a resistor to add a load back to the system. The standard bulbs require a load of xx amount of watts (ie., how many watts the light bulb is that you're replacing with the LED lamp), they sell these resistors online and most trailer hitch install shops should have them in stock.
Search amazon for "led resistor", you will find hundreds of these listed for 5-10 bucks. They will come with instructions, but if not, you will need to install them across the positive and negative wires of the turn signal's two wires.
Sorry yeah I meant resistor. So it doesn't matter that my stock wires are plugged into the new plug that goes into the new tail lamps. Just add the resistor to the stock wires and I'll be good?
