New member here, I have been to 2 dealerships looking at the 2014 4runner limited 4X4. The salespeople I have been dealing with don't seem to really know how this system works. One told me in normal mode it is front wheel drive and puts power to the real wheels when it needs to unless the transfer switch is turned to the H4L setting. This just seemed odd, I don't see this vehicle being front wheel drive. If someone could explain how the drivetrain in this vehicle works I would appreciate it. How does the power get to the ground in H4F, H4L and L4L? Thanks for the help.
