2014 Limited Chrome

I like the 2014 Limited, except for the big chrome bar across the front. Is there any way to get rid of it or tone it down? I know it's not as bad in some of the lighter colors, just as the Trail is best in darker colors (and the sr5 looks best in 2013 )

My other option is there are still some 2013 Limiteds and SR5 Premiums out there, with a front end that I like.

Anyone else get the idea that Toyota actually wants to kill the 4runner, so they redesigned the front to be as ugly as possible to drive down sales. The Japanese are into baseball. Maybe they saw "Major League".

Actually sales have gone up a bit since the introduction. People like it more, not less.

It's why I purchased a 2013. Plus I prefer the dash and red lighting on the '13.

not a fan of the location either, but its a trade off. where they are normally tend to get bumped by things if you place items near the center armrest. up by the center stack they tend to be hard to turn left/right with thick gloves on, from personal experience this winter.

on my old '10 legacy it was a rocker switch just below the center armrest, and they would always get knocked on/off by stuff and i would be like, wth why is my ass roasting with the a/c on during the summer.
