Hey all.
I have a 2014 Limited which has the Toyota Navigation. When the map is one if you press the "i" button at the bottom right of the screen you can make the screen display the street name you are on as well as the speed limit (if available). It even stays on when you split screen it with radio, etc.
However once I turn the car off this goes away. The only way to get it back is to reselect it.
I've been in Lexuses and test drove a 2015 Highlander (for the wife) this weekend and noticed their Navigation systems will continue to display the street name. The one in the Highlander is identical to the 4Runners except for screen size.
Is there a setting on the 4Runner to keep this on all the time? I've looking in the manual and tried everything I can think of.
Or is it supposed to stay on and I have a defective navigation system?
