2014+ rigid running boards on 2013 - Anyone?

There is a member local to me selling a set of the OEM rigid running boards off of a 2016 TRD Pro. I'm looking to buy them for my 2013 SR5, however I'm not sure if they will bolt up.

I've already swapped out the big SR5 rockers for the 2014+ smaller ones, so I figured I would have no problem installing these. As a reference point, I just looked at part numbers on NFAB's site. I figured that if the part number for their steps for a 2010-2013 Trail was the same as for a 2014+ Trail / SR5 / Pro, I'd be good. Turns out they are different part numbers.

Does anyone know if the positions of the mounting holes under the body were changed with the 2014 and up models? It's looking that way, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Mounting holes are the same only difference are the rockers on pre '14 SR5's. so if you took care of the rockers you should be fine. Good Luck

I can't say for sure, but I put the older style trail running boards on a 2016. So bu that logic they should be the same.

I didn't think there was any reason Toyota would have changed those mounting bolts, but the different NFAB part # threw me off.

you need to think before you spread misinformation. I am placing this here so that people know the truth about the NFAB step part numbers:

The NFAB part numbers are misleading but think of the rocker panel style that the 4runner trim had for the years in question. Thats why when you see the picture in post #11 it says "T1064R '10-13 4runner (Trail Edition ONLY)" you need to think: What made the '10-13 TE different in relation to the side step interface??? The rocker panels. The rockers for the SR5 and limited in the '10-13 years were closer to the ground, than the TE rocker panels (hence why shrockworks sells a TE rocker panel after market for the 10-13' SR5 and Limited 4runner). The 14+ 4runners all have the slimmer rocker panels EXCEPT for the limited trim which retained the older design where the rocker panels are closer to the ground.

if you have already updated your rocker panels then the 14+ side steps should fit without issue. If you have the old style you will have to trim your rocker panel, get a washer kit to space them closer to the ground, or get '10-13 TE or 14+ SR5/TE rocker panels and install them.

All I said was that I checked NFABs site, which absolutely lists different part numbers for a 2010-2013 Trail, and a 2014+ non-limited model:

2010-2013 Trail: T1064R
2014 and up (except limited): T1464R

I'm very well aware of the differences in rocker panels between the models, hence the reason I asked the question. A 2013 Trail has the exact same rocker panel as a 2014 Trail (or SR5), yet NFAB lists 2 separate part numbers. If the rockers are the same, the only other thing that could be different would be the mounts.

Yes, but this has been discussed time after time after time... and now we here we are again. Just trying to lay it out there plain, simple, and clear so that ANYBODY can find the correct information about these steps.
