2014 SR5 no beeps when backing up.

The way things are going you'll soon pay extra for a reverse gear - it will become an option.

Apparently turn signals already are on a lot of vehicles.........

The camera on the back works but there is no beep when getting to close to a car or in the red. It is not supposed to beep? out:

2014 SR5 = backup cam but no reverse sensors. Easily added for about 50 bux aftermarket though.

Yeah - same thing on my 2015 TE. No backup sensors, and I miss them!
But Hey! I get THREE garage door openers!
Just what I need in an off-road vehicle!

OK, that's it! I am looking into installing after-market rear sonar!

Almost backed into a post yesterday, and it looked to me like I was going to just miss it, according to the camera. (Post was just off to the side)
I DID back gently into a rock that I saw on the screen, but thought I would clear it)

Don't get me wrong - I appreciate the usefulness of the camera, especially for hooking up a trailer!
The rear sonar never let me down on my FJ, even for low curbs, weeds, rocks etc., - and I didn't have to be staring at the screen for it to warn me. I was free to be watching other important things, like when my front end was swinging too close to the next car!

I want both!

Although mine is an '11, I had them. I lost them unfortunately when I put an aftermarket bumper on. I do miss them. I liked the convenience.
