2014 TE 4x4 engagement

Do you have to stop the truck to put it in 4hi with the Trail Edition or can it be on the fly?
Im thinking about a Trail Edition Premium but noticed the SR5 Premium comes with a dial which I'm assuming you can switch to 4Hi while moving?

ps: I had a 2011 limited but sold 10 months ago like a dumb ass and bought a Prius Plug-in. Great millage, but it sucks, my own kids make fun of me now.

You can do it on the fly for putting it in 4H. 4L is a different story. Truck need to be in neutral and sitting still before putting in 4L.

Check owners manual should give you what else you may need to know.

Sorry to change the subject on you but this reminds me. My friends neighbor traded in his Tundra crewmax for a plug-in prius. I get a nice little chuckle every time I pass his house! The first time I saw it I thought it was April fools day, I had to double check the date.

OT, but how do you like the work n play toy hauler? They seem to be the only really heavy duty toy hauler made. I also have a 211, best all around boat Correct Craft has ever made.

You can turn on 4Hi on the fly but on the speed under 50 mph. You can turn it off on any speed though.

Love the work and play, wish had bought the 30 with the walk around bed and on board gen, but we do love it.

Lil mod to the wheels, although I have methods and 285's waiting to go on this week. Going to put 285 general arctics studded on oem rims for the bad snow weeks at the ski mtns. The 265's are going back to tire store.
