2015 led turn signal flasher?

Hi Socal,

I know some of the guys here have swapped their stock bulbs for LED's, and no... you don't have to change fuses to accommodate the new bulbs; these will draw even less current than the stock bulbs do! Rgds

Hmm, interested in this as well. Would like to do this rather than adding resistor. Question is, how do you know which one you need? And is it just one for all four signals?

I understand that. I have the bulbs, but the OP is referring to the flasher to account for the hyperflashing. Just wondering how/where to replace and which one is required.

Its only needed for the front, rears will work fine with leds

So i called the dealer and they said its under the dash on the drivers side, get on your back and its right under

Thanks. Have you had anytime to take a look? Was reading in some other threads that it was sealed in the ECU box and didn't seem like an easy mod. Trying to figure this out though, because I'd rather just do this than splicing in resistors.

My lady took the 4runner to work so when she gets home i will look, id rather not splice anything if i could just swap a fuse out.

Im stumped now, all i see are micro fuses and no big flasher fuse under the dash

Did some research on this last year and it seems like the flasher is integrated with the ecu in some form or fashion. Guys are using inline resistors to counteract the hyper flash since you can't swap out the flasher.

Having done LED on both my 5th gens I can tell you with certainty there is not flasher you can swap..

You simply splice a single resistor between neg and pos on each side and it works like oem.

Just so you have this...here is a link to where we buy ours. I have these exact ones on my 5th gens and on my old 4th. I buy the black ones so they are easier to hide.

Aftermarket bumper that doesn't use the stock turn signals on the older 5th gens.

The resistors burn out quickly if you use them for DRLs.
