2015 SR5 4x4 Questions

I have been lurking for some time and have already asked a couple of questions but I have more.

I just picked up a 2015 SR5 4x4 in MGM.

I went to 4 wheel parts and was told Bilstien 5100's are on national backorder. I was also told that there was no listings for 2015 and the 2014's would not work. I was also told that the Pro Comp 7089 rims (17x8) would not fit as the offset was wrong. On their website it lists as it would fit.

Does anyone know if the Bilstiens are the same for 2015 and if the Pro Comps will fit (anyone have a pic if it does)

Also I am looking for some side protection and a step up for the family. Will the Bud Built sliders serve this purpose or do I need either running boards (I like the look of the TE boards), but I would prefer some side protection. Or do I need some type of nerf side bar like on my Tacoma.

Sorry for all the questions. I'm going to start my build. Nothing fancy and no hardcore rock crawling but I will make it my own.

Nothing changed 2014 to 2015 you should know that from lurking.

BB sliders do help as a step to get it but not as low as running boards/nerf bars, but might stick out further, with door open they are plenty especially in the rear if you have bump outs

Now is a perfect opportunity for you to help yourself. I included a link in my signature called "5th Gen Tire Fitment Guide" that has all kinds of wheel information too. The catch is you need to learn about backspace and offset. It must be your lucky day though because there are links in that post to help you with that too. Good luck and maybe after reading you won't have to take anyone's "word" for it as you will be armed with enough information to decide.
