2016 Secondary Air Pump Chirp/Flutter

Has anyone else with a 5th Gen that has the Secondary Air Pump (2014+?) experienced an intermittent chirping/fluttering chirp when shutting the engine down or even with the engine running?

Took mine in for its 15k yesterday and mentioned a chirping sound that sounds like a serpentine belt pulley or tensioner and they came back and said it was coming from the air pump and that it was "normal" for it to chirp every once in while. It sounds almost like a turbo waste gate flutter and does not sound like a "normal" sound for something that spins.

I guess I'm trying to figure out if anyone else has encountered this and if so, did you address it with the dealer and what did they tell you?

A recording might help to say whether it is normal, but what you describe sounds at least similar to how mine sounds.

I would describe it more like a shop vac sound and I know that is normal. Not sure if your chirping is the same thing

It does the shop vac sound which I know is normal as it pushes that last bit of air on shut down. The chirp/flutter is intermittent and does not sound normal but the dealership claims it is.

Again, just trying to find out if anyone else has come across the same thing and what the dealer told them.

I'm in a wierd place of having been a tech and trying to encourage people to trust the dealer and at the same time not trusting the dealer when they tell me something like this is "normal" because I know how some techs work.
