2017 Sequoia + new USB-C iphone help

Hi all. I havnt posted in years, so i hope someone can help me out.

I have a 2017 Sequoia Limited with the bluray DVD and screen in the headliner. In the back of the console facing the passenger row is the HVAC controls and the red, white and yellow RCA-inputs.

No one but Walmart sells DVD’s, and i just got a new iphone w the USB-C cable. Is there a way to hook it up to the TV via the RCA’s so i can just stream for the kids on trips?

Amazon sells DVDs. I buy from them time to time. They also sell adapters for RCA to USB-C, audio and video. Search: rca to usb c video

This should be doable but it'll likely be a pain.
Option 1) pickup an Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter and an HDMI to RCA Cable. (be careful as many take signals from RCA to HDMI displays and NOT the other way around!) This will handle the physical connections from the Iphone to the RCA inputs on the Sequoia. However you will likely NOT be able to play anything commercial EG Streaming because of HDMI copy protection. There MIGHT be boxes that can do this for you but I don't have a link handy.

Option 2) Older Roku boxes supported those connections. Not sure if they work with Apple Air play or not.

Option 3) if you have an old Ipad just velcro it up over the Sequoia screen.

Option 4) If the built in player is broken, for less than the price of the Apple Digital AV Multiport Adapter connector in Opt 1 you can get a portable DVD player https://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Portable-DVD-Players/zgbs/electronics/172521 and plenty of places still sell DVD's and BluRays Amazon for new (https://www.amazon.com/b/?&node=2625373011) or try (https://www.deepdiscount.com/) Lots of kids dvds on my local Craigslist and garage sales these days.
