2019 Current phone mount solutions?

After trying out a few different options, Tackform makes the best phone holders IMO. I wanted something that would be sturdy but also one handed use and not too big.

I used the Tackform 1" Phone Holder. With a Ram mount base and Ram mount arm. All of this can be bought on amazon, it was $50 total.

The tackform stuff is very high quality. They are basically the same as the 67 Designs, but with many more mounts and accessories. I went with the Ram Mount for the base and arm for three reasons, 1. because they are composite, so the color matches the interior better, wont scratch, and wont get hot. 2. I trust the bolt mount vs tape or adhesive. 3 they are very universal just in case you change your mind down the road.

Surprised no one mentiones that proclip left mount scratches the shit out of the apillar trim

I bought this cell phone from Amazon and I really like how it's mounted. It snaps right onto the emergency button frame. Doesn't block the ac vent or the screen and it's pretty much centered. I rarely use the emergency button so it doesn't bother me.

Amazon link to cell mount!

Does it fit your phone with the case on? This looks great

So I stumbled upon this mount:

Gemini Phone Mount for 1984-2018 Toyota 4Runner

Asked the support if I can have another phone holder instead of the magnet and they made this for me:

They have instructions on the site but it goes into the empty switch button slot.
No drilling or adhesives required.

Should have it next week

Okay. Okay. I think you found the perfect mount. I thought my CD mount was good. God bless the inventor.

Love the Ram Mounts for the tablet and Galaxy phone. Super sturdy! Scosche magnetic mounts for the work iPhone (showing the Waze screen) and the iPod (acts as a screen for the camera on the dash). I closed the vent so as not to freeze/heat the phone.

Other than your review here, all the reviews on that item are for door handle covers...
Like the idea, but not sure about the seller

I have a pixel 3a xl and the phone fits fine.
When you put the phone in the bottom goes down the sides clamp onto the phone. The only thing I wish they did was find a better/sturdier way to mount the actual phone holder to the mount. Other than that this mount is solid.

I have that mount, not that great still shakes on road and forget about it for off road. The flexible rod still vibrates with the least amount from the road. If it was a solid rod then it would've been great. For $75 it wasn't worth the price at all!

Yeah, I am sending it back, you probably have the magnet one but you are absolutely right about it not being sturdy when driving. My set up is even worse, I asked for the scissors but there is a screw at top of the scissors mount that attaches it to the rod that keeps getting unscrewed due to the weight of the phone.
I am going back to the cupholder solution. If you don’t want to drill anywhere this is the only one that will work for me i guess
