Yeah, its really odd. No idea whats different about my set up. Getting the body mount chopped on Sunday.

Man this really has me stuck now because i wanted to run this exact tire set up along with spidertrax and i have the same wheels as you, but i'm going to do FJs and a cornfed 2/1 do you think i'll have the same problem since i think its going to be roughly around the same lift height ? Its weird that others have run the same set up without this issue.

youll definitely have rubbing issues. I ahve the DS lift and FJ coils and 265/75/16 duratracs and mud flaps removed, fender liner moved forward and i still need to trim my fender by the body mount

Damn alright well i guess second option will be 265/65/18 BF Goodrich AT KO ,,, i wish the Duratracs came in that size

Haha very true but i just got the 4runner and i have sooo many things i wanna do so trying to cut little corners here and there while im starting to build! Plus i really like the 18" limited wheels and i just plasti dipped em and love em even more! But knowing myself its inevitable i'll be buying wheels someday down the road in the future

Could the spidertrax be the problem? I have 275/65/18 with the bilsteins set at 1.75 and fj coils without the spacers. I trimmed the mud flap and moved the liner forward and no issues. I also heard that wheel spacers make rubbing matters worse. Take them out and see what happens.
I guess you already modified the body mount so maybe this is all for naut.

The tires don't have enough clearance from the UCA, have to have spacers on. It still rubs when I hit bumps while turning, wish the smaller duratracs were available when I bought these but oh well, one day i'll have a proper 3" lift and that'll fix it.

Yeah, just use a utility knife, or razor blade of some sort. keep trimming little by little until it stops rubbing.
for me, there is a body seam on the rear side of the wheel well that I still rub on, not much I can do about that since its behind the wheel well liner and I'm not about to remove that just for a little rub.

I also have a limited with the 18's. I have the Traxda 3"/1.25" kit for the XREAS and the 1.25" wheel spacers. I went to discount tire today to get a new set of tires and since they didn't have 265/65-18 in stock we tried the 275/65-18's in BFG KO2 and it just wasn't happening. We put one tire on and dropped the truck to test lock turns. At full left it hit the mud flap so bad even if I took it off it would have hit. And at full right it hit the fender liner. To put it simple they are just too big. BFG states that the KO2 in 275/65-18 is 32" total but with my experience they are just too big.
I am going back tomorrow to have 265/65-18 BFG KO's put on. I know I won't have a problem with those.

According to my research and the help of the wonderful community I have chosen the following for my lift. My goal is to have all this shipped to the house, take it to my local shop and have them put it in with no problems:
ICON STAGE 1 KIT to provide a 3/2 lift with 275/65/R18 according to the Tire Size/Fitment provided by [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION] chart located in the Suspension FAQ. Spidertrax are not necessary but will provide a wider stance and have no other positive or negative effect.
Anything else I should know before handing them my car?

I installed the 265/65-18's in BFG KO and they still slightly rub the mud flap at full turn. I refuse to take off the mud flaps because I don't want to scratch the rocker panels. I mean that's the point of a mud flap right?
I think that if I didn't have the wheel spacers it wouldn't rub but not sure.
You can always have the tire shop put one tire on and test it out.

Subbing to this for future reference. So it seems that you have to use 1.25" spidertrax spacers to clear the UCA with 275/65?
What if you run an aftermarket UCA? Could you skip the spacers? I hate spacers, most shops around me won't touch a truck with them. I have never had an issue in the past with them but it just is annoying to deal with getting turned away because I run them.
