285/70s cooper st maxx on stock SR5 wheels????

Can i fit the these tires on stock wheels without rubbing my UCAs i have a 2.5 inch front lift will i need to trim my front frender?

Before i buy these tires i wanna make sure these tires wont rub my UCAs so dont have to buy wheel spacers

I have seen members on here with the STT ( a bit more aggressive) in a 285 70 17 on trail edition wheels without spacers. That was with a OW 2.0 lift I believe. So if the SR5 wheels are the same as the trail then you should be ok. But 285's rub your fenders without a lift I believe. Those are a nice tire as well. I am looking at the same ones but stock size as I don't have a lift.

the SR5 wheels are 7" wide Trail is 7.5" so it makes a little difference far as the UCAs are concerned, the narrower the wheel the closer to the UCAs ur tires are

The new 285/70-17 tire on the OEM 7" wide 4.5" BS wheel will sit 0.4" closer to the UCA and stick out further by the same amount. The tread face will be 0.55" closer to both the front fender liner in front of the wheel and and the mudguard/body mount behind the wheel.

The fender liner can be repositioned further forward and the mudguard can be removed but you're definitely going rub somewhere.

Mine did not rub at all, until I moved the Castor forward. I really think it depends on where the op's castor is set at right now. When mine did start rubbing, if was very minor, only in reverse and only at full lock. A little adjustment to the front fender liners, no more rub.

What's the weight on these st Maxx 285/70/17's

This tire weighs 60 pounds according to Cooper (I asked that exact question a few weeks ago and they emailed me the answer). Certainly going to reduce mileage and power.

This tire looks terrific and is E rated. If I ever go to a 285 this is absolutely the tire I will buy. I would not use stock wheels though. If you actually go off road and air down, you definitely want more width on the wheel.
