Or done any headwork ie shaved port polish

Just wondering if it worth the bang

On the 3VZ port and polishing the head is worth it.

On the 5VZ the head flows pretty well so you will see minimal gains with a port and polish. However, a cam would be beneficial, although they are very costly.

B4 I pay 1000 for cams ill drop in a v8

Would just like more power between 3k&4k

I know of no after market cam or head for this v6 that will give you more power.

Accept what you have. Best thing to do is new exhaust, intake, maybe headers.

All that can be done for about $1300

Myself, I have all the above and aftermarket heads. I have JE heads because my OEM failed at 199k miles.
