Can you notice a difference? What was your reasoning for wanting to get it. I guess try and sell me on it haha. And is it something someone with basic knowledge of tools and trucks could install themselves.

I was part of the last group buy. Very pleased. After a week there was no drone. It was easy to install and significantly lighter that stock. I really like the way it sounds. Can't beat the price.

The ^above^ quote is from the last sale I ran on the 5th gen Gibson. You'll notice the power gain mainly at highway speeds, and a bump in mileage of 1-2 with highest gains on highway.

The 4 guys that bought these the last time we did the sale, never sent pics. But, most sites show systems on a ford explorer, this is best I can do for now. It exits out the same way as the 4th gen pic. Same.

What was your reasoning for wanting to get it.

An appreciation of fart-like noises.

And honestly, I make enough of those myself.

Please, be more upfront about the real reasons for aftermarket exhaust. It's about noise. Otherwise, if you're going to tout Gibson exhaust for its performance gains, A) why don't we all have it, and B) throw up some dyno numbers. If you did, we might see a few hp gained above 4k. How often is anyone in those rpm ranges in these trucks?

Not bashing, I promise. I put a spintech muffler and 3" pipes on my Tundra, not because I would get more hp, but because it sounded fantastic. The v8 helped.

What this helps with is highway passing power, and better mpg. Gibson flow tests all their systems, mandrel bent piping, and replaces the coffin sized factory muffler. It also weighs about 40 lbs less than the factory setup.

Also, if you are towing it also helps. Most are getting this for nicer deep sound, without getting annoying done, while picking up a little more mileage.

I've put about 50 miles on since the install and I can say I'm pleased this far. I plan on checking the bolts tonite to see if re-tightening is necessary as recommended by Gibson. The Exhaust is NOT too loud, at least for my taste. Here are some pictures.
