Hey guys, I haven't posted for 2 years and thought it's time to get back at it.

1. Any idea where I can get just the front lens for my fog light. I can only find the entire assembly (mucho dinero).
2. Any idea why I would have so many splice connectors in there? Is that common?
3. This wire has been disconnected since I bought it. I think it is associated with the security system, but I'd love some clarification.
4. My runner turned 126k today!

You'd have to ask the previous owner why. They obviously tapped into those wires for some power reason.

I'd use a liquid electrical tape vs actual tape.

1. I don't think you can just buy the glass. I'm in the same boat and don't feel like spending the money on an entire assembly.
2. I'm willing to bet those splices are for an aftermarket alarm. The green wire with yellow stripe controls your rear window. Another is for the lights.
3. Not sure on the plug, and it doesn't look like any wire I've seen in mine. Trace the wire and see where it goes.

Yes you can take those connectors off and just tape them. use 3M super 33+ electrical tape. It doesn't get hard and brittle in the cold. Much better protection. Most likely they had an alarm/remote start or something and we're too lazy to solder and tape/heat shrink their connections.
