So, whta kind of mpg are folks getting after a lift and 285 70 17 tires are put on? Also will a 285 70 17 tire fit underneath where the spare goes?
If you are knowingly going to be lifting and putting on larger tires, MPG should not really be a big concern. If MPG is a concern get a crossover like the RAV 4. Just a rant....sorry.
:iagree:
On the rare occasion I reset my gauge to check mileage, I'm not about 14-15 with regular driving. 33s and a rack killed whatever mileage I was getting before. Not so sure how ya'll get all of these 19s and 20 mpgs without driving slower then a granny.
My experience with mixed driving (10% ethanol mix):
Stock: 18.2 mpg
Stock+275s: 17.8 mpg
275s+lift: 17.2 mpg
285s+lift: 17.0 mpg
I do not drive aggressively, but not a light on the go-pedal either.

I would really like to know how people get 20ish lifted.... I barely get that stock and I live at sea level
