3rd Gen(2001) cup holder rubber piece???

My kid was cleaning out my 01 runner for me and managed to throw away the rubber piece that fits down inside the center cup holders. Does anyone have the toyota part number or have one for sale?

Yup, just make your own. I just went to a dollar store and bought those rubber pads that you use to put your phone on the dashboard. Just use a pair of scissors or a knife and cut it out to shape. $1, easy.

I'm looking for one of these also. I think I took mine out and left it at the car wash. I realize that you can make one, but it isn't going to fit exactly like the OEM black rubber insert. The OEM insert has a raised bridge section that fits perfectly between the two cup holders.

Usually you can find small items like this on eBay, but I haven't had any luck so far. I'll also keep my eye out for one in a salvage yard.

If there was a part number you should be able to simply order one of these and pick it up at your local Toyota dealership for $10 or less, but the person in the parts department kept insisting that it cost over $100 (probably the price for the center console). No matter how many times I explained what I needed she kept quoting the same price.

I never knew these existed as my 4Runner has never had one. I saw them in a buddies 4Runner and I thought to myself I should make one. That was 6 years ago and I still haven't gotten around to it.

Can't say it would be worth my time.
