I installed King 2.5" coil overs with Camburg uni ball upper arms on the front and the King rears with the compression adjusters paired with LC80 coils and couldn't be happier
Since your running lc coil rear, what lenght kings you runnung? 4runner will bottom out. Lc kings?

Will these work on my '02 sr5? I have the original suspension and it needs to be replaced REALLY bad. I have a set of LC springs already from mt old rig. Also will this lift the front end or will i need to get spacers? If so will the onse for the 96-02 4runner spacers work or do i need to get the tundra ones. This is my first go around wwith IFS suspension

Ome 2881 front coils
I was given some used OME front coils and i am wondering what they will adapt with. can the be put on a stock strut, or OME only? i recently put in bilistein in rear and would like to do same in front but not sure and cant seem to get an answer on this. Any advice would be great.

If you haven't gotten your answer already, the answer is OME struts only for OME coils.

Didn't see an answer for this so I'll post: Spaces is for wider tires if the current wheels you're running don't have enough backspacing. It prevents the wheels from rubbing on the upper control arms.
Body lifts are so when the rig goes to full stuff, the tires aren't rubbing on the wheel well. I think I need to get a 2" BL instead of a 1" now that I'm thinking about it but I'll just roll with it

Since OME is typically made for narly sized loads, they probably compress a little but not back to stock. They're pretty stiff springs/shocks

I'm leaning towards using the tundra shocks & OME coils, or the Eibach front coils. Any advice? or experience with this combo? What if i swap the top hats? Use my original 4runner yop har on these struts.

Another question...i came across a set of new ome895E springs, will they work? I know everyone says the 80 series front springs, but will these work instead? I am installing a double drawer and platform in my cargo area this week and carry my work tools and stuff everyday. This is my daily driver, work truck, and camping rig. It does everything.
They are a slight shorter in height from my understand, though I haven't ran them personally. I think they are only 1 to 1-1/2".
I don't believe they can clear, but not 100% sure in regards to the Tundra Bilstein setup. What are you looking for out of the lift? If you are good wth OME, just get the 800-900 complete setup, they do well and I ran it for awhile back on my 97 4Runner.
OME 2906 and 2890 Rears
Sorry guys if this has been brought up already but i'm a bit confused on the Coil loads of these 2 models?
All of the forum posts lean towards the OME 2906 as medium coils and great for stock applications for the rear. I've spend countless hours here researching my suspension combo and have decided on Bilstein 4600's all around with OME coils. 2880's up front and now confused for the rears as my research of the 2906's were going to be the choice. I just ordered pair of 2890's from 4wheel parts and the guy told me that the application guide should be followed on the website and show the 2890 as medium and 2906 as heavy. Did ARB flip these parts around? I don't want to end up with heavy springs if there was a mix up on the ARB website. People have posted here that the 2890 are for heavy loads. I just checked the ARB website for the 3rd gen application and it says the reverse?

All I have for load day to day load in the rear is trailer hitch and all the kids gear (strollers, emergency supplies etc)

Rough Country Lift
I haven't seen much mention of the rough country 3" lift for the 3rd gens. If I missed it somewhere I'm sorry. Does anyone have any experience with this lift and the tire size you can run? Rough Country says it'll clear 31's but I'm at stock height and its running 31's now and clearing them just fine.

Does anybody know if the TRD shocks from 2010+ Tacoma will fit on a 2WD 3Rd Gen?

They will not.
Nothing for the front of an 05+ Tacoma, 03+ 4Runner, or 07+ Tundra/sequoia will fit on a 3rd gen 4Runner.

New member with a couple questions
Hi guys, Im new here and I just took delivery of a set of Bilstein 5100`s for my 2002 4runner sr5 4wd with 145k on it, I am also looking at a ome 890 springs for the rear. My dad is still debating if he will let me lift it or not, so that leads me to my first question
1) do any of you have experience with running 5100`s at stock height, does the vehicle handle weird?
2) do any of you have experience with running 5100`s with lift springs in the rear, if so how does this affect the ride and handling of the vehicle ?
Also, my tires are bald around 3/32nds and living at 5,000+ feet with bald tires in the winter isnt exactly great. I want to put either a 31 x 10.50 x 15 or a 265/75/16 on but my dad is saying I have to have my speedo accurate, so I will need to calibrate it after I get larger tires. My dad is also concerned about me putting bigger tires on he is worried that I will need to re gear because at the moment I have 235/75/15 on . My questions for this are
1) have any of you re calibrated your speedo after putting on bigger tires ?
my understanding is that the limiteds had an option for 265/70/16 so I was thinking I could just pull the gauge cluster out of one that was in a junkyard, but my concern is that they have different gearing.
2) if any of you have put on bigger tires did you feel like you needed to regear ? I often do drives that are 200 to 500 miles each way through the mountains and on interstates.
