Current setup is with oem coils and Bilstein 4600 shocks and struts.

Before measurements taken with a little over a 1/2 of gas:

Rear left-20.75"
Rear right-20.5" (JL 10W6V2 is on this side)

Front left-20.25"
Front right-20.5"

curious, why the fj coils over other options?

quality & performance for less cost than ome, eibach sonoran etc

I had no idea this combo was possible. Don't people also do tundra springs? How does one decide between all these possibilities?

Exactly my dilemma , too many choices, too many confusing opinions about ride quality , soft, firm, harsh, just right..

I got my set of all four FJ springs off a 2010 for $80 with the Bilstien front shocks included. I'll sell those to offset the total cost.

Tundra springs are hard to find used at least here in my area and you need to make sure you get the right ones.

I have my sway bars connected and haven't really FULLY flexed out the rig, but under flex is when it's heard. Driving on flat pavement and soft bumps they're quiet. I suspected that the moog replacements may be to blame. Is there a noticeable difference in the diameter of the top of the coil and they're seat on the OEM coils? The front coils had a very slight difference, but the rears were noticeable.

Problem the Coils you have are fitting too loose so they move under flex.
They're too big on the bottom or at the top.

How to fix that problem on a 4runner without replacing the springs entirely is a good question.

On my 86 truck I can just swap out the bump stop for a bigger one that would fit snuggly inside the coil and that would keep it from shifting under flex.
I guess I'll add that to the list

22.25" for the rears and 21.5" in front.

I've only driven about 10 miles with them. There is a noticeable difference in ride quality. The brake dive has been reduced and my dog will really appreciate that! The rear isn't as bouncy either. It just feels more planted.

This reminds me of when I first bought the 4Runner with 61k. It had OEM coils and Tokicos in the front and OEM KYBs in the rear. What a plush ride!

I will take this on the highway to see if it helped decrease how much the truck would sway with wind.

I have them set at the second notch.

Here's a before pic with a 40+ lb Thule MOAB with extension. The springs were pretty dang soft and with anything above 20 lbs it would sag.
