Nope, I don't understand what you've been through. I hope not too.
Realize that I am an outsider viewing the small piece of fabric as being insignificant in the picture while you and many other Americans in this thread jumped all over the guy (even suggesting a ban??) and ridiculed him for posting the picture.
It seems far too typical of the American mentality to start screaming 'offense! offense! they did something I didn't like!' and then the shit storm starts.
Thanks for the warning JWaldz. I'll keep this shit to myself, i just hope that you've issued warnings everyone else who posted on the same topic after you stated not to.

pft... well my new wheels will have to wait... tires, thats even more of a joke, that will have to wait till i get back from afganistan(if the wife doesnt sell the runner while im over there -if she does ill be in prison for murder -premeditated now...). damn budget cuts and sequester, i just got cut back to on stipend(on call basically) from ADSW orders(full active duty). i just dumped like $1200 into the IFS on this thing and the above pics are what im left with... so now its all coming back out and i have to put new bushings in the LCAs as the ones that are there are total poop, even though they are brand new. it spent two full days on 3 different alignment racks at 3 different shops, no one could get it figured out. and it was just fine when i drove it up there... so yeah now it sits at the dealer till i get my new poly LCA bushings then ill go up and put them in and see what i get :violin:
on a side note i get to reconnect with my old 85 truck and go retro for a few days while i have two weeks of leave

I had a 700, right hand. But I sold it when I turned 18 to fund some school projects haha. That being said the wood shop project now holds my new (not so much anymore) 700, ar15, and a little play around 20g. And of course my trusty 92fs haha.

thanks, its from the sand box, when i was over there, just a spc at the time, playing God/reaper, deciding who lives and dies lol. but i thought it rather fitting considering- that was a day from hell a mission that was supposed to last no more than 8hrs ended up lasting 32+ we lost 3 trucks and got stuck out in some not so nice areas in the middle of the day 120+ outside yeah i was a little pissed to say the least

I think it was not only what he was doing with the flag, but the response to when someone pointed it out.
I'll play a little devil's advocate here. Yes, it is just a flag and more, just fabric. What's the big deal? Do other countries care about their colors nearly as much as this one? Don't think so.
That being said, the bottom line is that people do here. Whether you agree with it or disagree with it, I think you need to understand it and more importantly, respect it. Understand and respect that yes, you do have the freedom to do whatever you would like with the flag, but also to understand and respect that it's going to have repercussions.
I'd recommend anyone who wants a little more understanding to watch the recent CNN documentary "The Flag"

no Springfield, or H&K... i am issued a 92fs at work, and well lets just say id only use it to kill my self before i get take POW... id rather throw it at the enemy than try and engage them with it F that rattle trap jamming inaccurate pile of lowest bidder crap. the one i am given at work state side, it just stays in the safe and i use my personal XD
ps -Glocks are over rated and priced

I see, haha very nice. I'd rather have a .45 if I were in your situation. But no when you're going through the straights for 9 hours they say "man the .50s and 240B" it's not like that's going to save our wooden ship...haha
