I just finished installing my heads havent put the timing belt on yet. IM trying to get the cam gears to TDC (facing the car) i can get the right cam gear's hatch mark to point straight up no problem
the left side is a little tricky. i get the hatch mark to point straight up. but i can feel the lifters compressing the valves. and so the slightest turn of my driver puts the hatch mark at a 2 o clock position. so i know that trying to seat the timing belt onto the cam gear is gonna be more a pain than it already is. is it supposed to be that way? By the way i have a hydrolic belt tensioner not the spring tensioner on idler pulley 1
please bestow me with your knowledge..........

Its a bit tricky. Best advice I found is to get the belt on the right (drivers side) cam, then stretch on to the other one. Good luck
