Where did you find the tacoma spindles? Been looking for a driver side for a while now and can't find it anywhere.

Lookin' good man. I recognize that 3rd gen with the YJ grill from other parts of the interwebs. Definitely a sick and unique rig.

I friend of mine had a complete front susp. off a late 90's 4cyl taco. It kinda fell in my lap.

Got the wheels all done, mounted and aired up

Picked up my CB, I thought it was neat... no head unit it's all contained in the mic. All you have is that small little box to mount somewhere

Had to do a little machine work on the steering shaft extension, it wouldn't fit flush.

So this was the weekend to get things really started. Thanks to my brother in-law Ben who owns NC4x4 (Nevada County 4x4) for letting me use his shop. Also a big thanks to Nate for putting in a lot of hours with me to make this come together.

We started on Friday afternoon with a pile of parts. And a stock rig

We started off with the 1.5" body lift

From there we tore off all the stock parts

Got the rear springs, pan hard drop bracket, new seals, and shocks, brake like on

Started assembly on the front. I ordered lower ball joints and outer tie rods for a Tacoma...Look at the size difference. The taco parts are quite a bit bigger. The tie rod shank is surprisingly bigger.

hung the Camberg UCA's and the coils

Once the front susp was off I took the front sway bar end links off, put new bushings on and moved them to the back.
