So instead I pulled the plug that's in the roof under the end cap, used a step drill to open it up a little. Then installed a rubber grommet to run the wires thru, I put a dab of cone around the wire as well just for shitts and giggles.

Now it was time to work on the end cap. I used a carbide 1/4" burr to notch the end cap for the wire. Added a little silly cone to the cap to seal it as much as I could. From there I just ran the wires along the roof down the A pillar with the rest of the wires.

To finish it off I installed a weather pack connector, just to make it easier to remove the rack if I need to. I've never done a weather pack connector before...Not as bad as I thought.

So that's it on that for this weekend. I did drill the rack and fish some wire thru the rack to be able to pull the actual wires thru this week. While I had the interior out I ran the CB wire...No pics, it wasn't anything special...

I did put in some new floor mats

Next project was putting in the roll bar. No actions pics, but it was nothing special either. Mark and drill holes, put bolt in, tighten....Repeat. Any way here is the finish product. Looks ok, the drawer opens up with out hitting the rear gate, which is nice. Plus it gives me enough room for all my crap.

Looks like a very productive weekend. Did you color match the roll bar and the drawer?

I did, I sprayed them both at the same time.

So last night I got the wiring done on the roof rack. Wanted a clean look so I ran all the wires in the rack tubes.

Yea the touch screen works fine. Has back up camera and all. I'm taking it out, I'm not real impressed with it. Got a new one on order, should be here Monday. Not sure what the part number is, sorry
