What kind of coils were your old coils? Looks good now!
Everything looks great. I like the stance now :thumb3:
Just a little tip on the shock boots. Cut that dumb zip tie off, move the boot down so it's not all twisty and stuff, and put one of those stainless steel pipe clamps on it. It works a lot better. If you want to be more precise with it, flex out each side and adjust the boot accordingly.

Hope the shrockworks bumper is still on schedule. Can't wait to see it!

Thanks! I actually don't know what kind of coils they were because they were on the truck when I bought it (the previous owner had the coils in the rear and a random steel spacer in the front). I have never seen anything like them on a T4R before, but maybe someone else might know what they are...
They look like a Downey Offroad coil. I know that Singtoe and APBLM (I think that's his Username) have them as well. I have a Downey coil, but mine are gold. What kind of lift did you get with those? I've only seen a handful of people running Downey coils and no one else running the gold ones like mine.
I have no clue if mine are standard or HD, but I got over 3" of lift out of mine and they don't sag very much under load. I wish there was more info on them, but I haven't really found any and I assume mine are the HD version. Mine also have 8 wraps compared to your 10, but it looks like the thickness of the coils is greater on mine. Who knows, but I like them, especially loaded up.

For anyone doing this with a floor jack and jack stands, here is the easiest way that I found to get the axle to flex enough to get the old coils out and the new coils in:
1) Remove the lower shock mount and sway bar end links
2) Using a floor jack (I would recommend at least a 3 ton) positioned at the lowest point on the frame (I used the gas tank skid plate) jack the truck up as high as the jack will go.
3) Place a set of 6 ton jack stands under the frame (I placed the jack stands under the factory trailer hitch) and allow the jack stands to support the frame.
4) Use the floor jack to raise the rear axle
5) Remove the tires
6) Use the jack to raise the rear axle as high as it will go without lifting the frame.
7) Place only one 3 ton jack stand on one side of the axle (I started with the passenger side)
8) Slowly lower the jack (This should cause the axle to flex since only 1 side will be supported)
9) If necessary use coil compressors to remove the old coils and install the new ones (My old coils didn't need to be compressed very much to get them out, but the new ones definitely did)
10) Use the jack to raise the rear axle again
11) Switch the 3 ton jack stand to the other side of the axle and do the same on the other side.
12) Reattach the shocks and sway bar end links and put the tires back on.
thanks for outlining your procedure!
Your rig has come a long way man. Looks good! I like the new stance with those LX coils.
And I'm super jealous of the Shrockworks!
How do you like your PIAA lights? I'm looking for a set to mount to my bumper when it arrives.
Also how's the height on your cb? I bought a 5' antenna and I'm going to be mounting it to the same spot as you.
Thanks
Thanks man, just what I wanted to hear.
Did you end up deciding on a winch?
James
Cool man, I know how you feel. My addicted shipped out Friday, this winch has been sitting here looking at me for the last two weeks. Killing me!
