There is always interesting things you see during storms...

This is an out of focus picture(stupid autofocus--Antman??) of a fly and caterpillar holding on to a branch during the storm

Since I must be camping, I decided to grill me some waffles for breakfast this morning.

And a video just east of the eye of the storm. Most of the high winds happened during the dark. I was waiting for the second half that was coming later that evening.

Went through a Cat3 when I was a kid in Pensacola - glad you & family are ok. The scary part is being boarded up in the house & listening to the wind outside - wondering what each sound you hear could be. Best of luck w/ the clean up.

Thanks guys...We just got power...I had to throw out everything in the fridge freezer :(--it needed a clean out anyway...Just glad we didn't experience the issues others have...Even though it was a weak storm, the slow forward progress caused problems...Well, now to get things back on track...Thanks again y'all!

Glad to hear you're doing alright. I grew up on the Northshore. Parent's were good but some friends on the rivers up in Covington are dealing with rising water. Glad you're alright. Miss it down there, up in Seattle for military duties.
