4runner is now complete w/ 35's!

haha yeah, I dont have any room in my signature for all that junk so i just shorten it up with "baer brakes". and ill just leave it at that lol. I also get a big discount from lesch swab because my guy buys the parts because hees the owner with his price, and I just pay him back lol

Just curious, As most of you know, im most likley going to sell the rig AS IS... but the KBB is for stock runner. Right now (0'3) my odo says 106k... Running 33's for years and now 35's thew that off, the engine really has about 90ishk on it if i calculated correctly...

How much would it be worth ya think?

Obviously you'd get MUCH more parting it out, then selling stock. But it's a lot of work.

For the right buyer, you could probably add a few grand for all your aftermarket parts.

But you never get what you put into the car, when it comes to selling modified vehicles... not even close. A lot of people don't want to buy modded vehicles, so it can be to your detriment.

And yeah, your mileage is higher than your odometer reading, not lower.

All that said, maybe 13K, give or take?

Ex. A mile is a mile. duh, However i can hit a mile faster with the 35's then with 265's due to the bigger rotation. So shouldn't that be factored in when I'm finding my real engine milage? taking my (107k) now, X by 12% for about 10k miles (25's), and how much ever bigger % those 33's were for about 25k. then subtract from total 107k ?? Or maybe im just all messed up here and got the whole thing backwards lol Please enlighten me lol

In my thinking, my true ODO miles with 35's couldnt be the same as if i had this thing on 265's for the whole 107k.

Actually modding your truck hurts resale value. The dealership won't give you anything over book no matter how much you put in. A private person may give you a couple k more than book but I wouldn't expect much. Granted you have one heckofa rig there. Lots of time, love and money went into it. Just don't expect to recoup much if any of the cash. Just walk away with the smiles and memories . the only time you can get any money back is if it was restoring an old car otherwise you're just screwed and out the cash. Hope that helps. Will be really sad to see it go.

With the bigger tires, your odometer reads slow. If it says 107K miles, you've actually got more than that on it. With my 32s, mine is 6.5% show. I've verified with my GPS, travel 100 miles according to my odometer, GPS shows 106-107 miles.

i got a 2005 4runner with 3/2 revtech lift and a toyotech 1 inch body lift and

im running 35s with basically no trouble its alittle harder to park but that the

only difference basically i had to trim a good bit but cant really tell i also

have 2inch spacers

I most likley will do a private sell for sure, theres a good chance i might not even sell it though and just keep it as my wheeler, For anyone who is a car junky like myself, heres what ill be getting... same color, just little bigger lift and bigger 37 toyo mt's same theme as well... of course ill be modding everyinch of this as well.. :biggrin2:

Alright dude so let me get this straight, you buy a 4Runner which most people would love to afford, spend a grand on a toytec ultimate, rims, tires, subs, body lift, new door speakers, all your upgrades on your engine.Then you're gonna keep the T4R AND buy a BRAND NEW avalanche, lift it 9" and put 37" Toyo MTs which are the most expensive mud tire you can buy. Not to mention that you're only in college? I started off giving you the benefit of the doubt, but even if you did start working when you're 16 there's no way that you could afford all that in only 4 or 5 years part time. I thought I was the spoiled one with all the stuff my Mom has helped me out with. Go join the 120 or something man, you're making even me feel poor.

I'm on 120, but I dont use it much lol, I might be one of the more younger members of the forum which is good! BUT, I really hate talking abut this lol, I'm not a snobby rub it in your face type of guy with $ things, I just let it do the talkin for me lol.. Sorry to make you feel poor I'm not here to do that at all! for refrence 35" toyo MT's are about 1900 bucks, I could get them for about 15 if i wanted too.. Ill get a deal on 37's.. My 35" coopers were 15 all said and done, Probably would have got the Toyos, but I wasnt about to buy new rims to clear the outside tread on my UCA.. but anyway like I said, when i was young, I didnt have to pay for much, so I could always save my $, plus allowances, and it has helped me alot that I tend to get more generous pay checks since my dad ownes the company that i do the part time slave labor for LOL, not to mention thats not the only thing ive done plus a few more things,(might sound stupid on this one) but ever watched storage wars on AE? Me and my best high school buddie over the last 2 summers have bought and then sold the goods in abandoned storage lockers! actually turns a huge profit!!!! Lets just hve this be over now, and get back to the 35 thread I'm tired of talkin about it lol and feel like ittl start a war over a spoiled kid in his 20's lol... After all I'm just your urban country boy:hatsoff:
