Hey guys, looks like it might be the end of the road for me. I hydroplaned my 4runner into a solid pole yesterday. Looks like the axle and CV is shot. Airbags deployed. In your guys' opinion, does it seem like this 4runner is totaled and not worth the cost to repair? I'm thinking of selling the entire vehicle as is. How much should I expect to get? Also, if anyone is interested in purchasing, please send PM. I'm located in San Diego, California. I hope this bit of advertisement is okay by forum rules. Please let me know if not.
More about the vehicle: Appears to be no engine or radiator damage. Front driver's side is somewhat crushed in, so you can see the overflow container moved. Prior to accident, steering rack was just replaced due to leak. New rear springs and bumper courtesy of the 20A recall
. New wires to fix misfiring issue. Also worth mentioning, new IAC valve, LBJs, resealed T-case, new valve cover gasket, new catlytic coverter and muffler. Total mileage ~150,000. 4runner turns on good, and can travel short distances to move onto tow beds.
