This thread is so obscurely hidden in the depths... post this in General Discussions or something. At least then, you'll get all gens and more than 17 total posts (more nominees) in 4 days.
No offense to these guys and their trucks, not saying they don't deserve to win. T4ROTM died out because of the Gallery subforum is a ghost town (T4ROTM rules being that you must post in the Gallery subforum). There are simply way too many insane builds on here that are completely overlooked for T4ROTM because of this.
Lets be honest, this nominees list is lacking tons of well deserving names, and I don't see it getting much bigger anytime soon if it's hiding here.
On a side note: Back when T4ROTM was in full stride, I was convinced that it was easier to win with a stock 4th gen and a spacer lift than an actual build. There were lots of good T4ROTM choices, but so many bad ones in between. IMHO, it often wasn't 4Runner of the Month, it was "Which 4Runner is prettiest this month?"
I'm only writing this stuff because I hope to see names that fit the bill this time around... if we're going far enough to call it Toyota 4Runner of the Month. I won't be participating in the vote if you're planning to include a bunch of truly undeserving nominees, regardless of how "pretty" they are.
The_Josh is definitely a great nominee... that's a damn good build. Crozhawk is incredible. Singtoe's 4.7 V8 conversion in his 3rd gen is also very impressive. I'll try not to go low enough as to suggest myself (I said TRY), but you guys spend enough time on this forum, let's see some actual thought put into these choices...
