I only wash mine when the dirt outside it gets so bad that I can't get in without getting my hands and shins dirty. I've never waxed it. I don't own any car care appearance products except a bucket and a brush on a stick. I use dish soap to wash it and I wipe down the inside with a moist towel from the laundry basket.
Sometimes I just wash it in the river:

Hell, I haven't even started it in over a week. I usually ride my motorcycle to work and on errands and such. It is similarly filthy and I adhere to the same standard - when dirt starts transferring onto me, I wash it!
This is the 4R's normal resting state. Poor thing.

Haha sorry. I was excited to get to use it but then events came up and we couldnt do it. I did say maybe though i didnt give a positive yes i would do it

Killing the pampered challenge going through the best by-hand car wash in Knoxville TN. Had to wash all the dust and smoke off of it since we basically turned into California with drought and wildfires.
EDIT: Sorry... didn't realize that the pampering challenge had been met and that we have moved on to rainbow foam. This is painful because mine had rainbow foam on it prior to this pic and before I remembered the old challenge. :ybrick:

Yep... it migrates between 19.4 and 19.7. I haven't reset it in a couple of months. I had been doing about 75-80 for 15 miles before and then stop and go city traffic to get to the car wash so it was on the low side.

Racepauly, great pics but I think I screwed up the game not seeing the bodywork pampering of 85RedRunner and the subsequent rainbow foam challenge. If my pic had been like 30 seconds earlier it would've had the rainbow foam. I'm still waiting for MeefZah to make fun of me.
