Just saw this one two days ago... Just haven't had time to post it. Don't want to piss anyone off, but I wasn't impressed... At all. Rack, steps, and skid plate are all cheap looking IMO.

go with Nfab if anyone is looking for the t-force rack. I work at a dealership and ordered a "replacement" tforce rack. It came in and Gulf States has a core charge on the rack. So basically, you pay $700 for the rack and send them a rack back, or pay 1400 and don't send them anything. As of right now they won't just sell the rack to a regular person. Gulf States Toyota can suck it!

We actually have one of the much loathed T-Force 4Runners. LOL! The best I can figure it was around $2000 added to the price. They don't deal a lot on 4Runners here, we looked around off and on for a while before settling on one. Our old car was an Outback and I am not sure if the wife will ever like the 4Runner like she did it… Anyway I rebadged the Outback and had to plastidip a lot of it and buy wheels to get it murdered out the way she wanted. So this thing was a relief in that department. I don't know why they went with gray accessories?? And the roof rails are standard silver so I will be dipping them maybe Sunday or getting them powder coated.
To answer some questions. The sliders (steps) are just bolted to the body. They are solid and my wife uses the steps daily. But probably not what you would want for hardcore offroading. The rack is kinda small I think 41" by 41" or something like that of usable space. It is fine for our camping trips. The big racks are cool but we won't be doing any big over landing trips. The only thing that is worthless is the skid plate. It just fills the hole from the factory skid and the bumper cover.
I love the 4Runner and hope to hit some of the roads in NM and Arizona that we used to take in the Subie. The Outback was a hell of a car and I hope this one will be too.

N-Fab Parts + SR5 = T Force 4Runner
Along with a whole bunch of other people on here, I am not going to be going "full overland" with my 4Runner. So, a nicely compact roof basket makes sense for me (for now). So, I looked all over this basket while getting my oil changed at my local Toyota Dealership...
...then I got to work...
Here is the Gulf States Toyota part numbers for the "T Force" rack and mounting kit...
Rack: 00012-R1660-21 $704.06
Kit: 00012-R1660-22 $113.76

So, for an $83 mark-up (and a "core" charge) and a hole that says "T Force" I can get the GST one, or I can pay $100 less and get a Prinsu Designs 3/4 length aluminum rack (www.prinsudesignstudio.com). Ultimately, it is going to come down to price. I like them all, but I don't plan on spending a ton of money to get a Gobi unless I fall into a vat of gold. (Can someone point me in that direction?)

I ordered the rack from Nfab about a week ago. I will be heading to the Summit in a few days, so hopefully I have the rack when I get back to the dealership! I will post pics whenever it gets mounted. From there I will decide on lighting. I'll keep everyone posted.
Heres my nfab rack from Amazon,remember price changes weekly and i got for 540 prime free shipping, can easily be lifted off by 4 bolts if need be. Works well with bajarack ladder. In case anyone asks. I drilled holes for the rear 10" light flood bar, not connected to backup lights rack has lots of cut outs on top for lighs but they will place them way too high for my taste but if you want let say a 20" up top make drill your own hole on slated front bar. Also unseen are diodnynamics full kit and highly recommend. And modified rotapax polaris mount on ladder 3gal pack.FYI you need to upgrade to stronger hatch lift supports if installing rear ladder.

I ended up buying one from a member that decided to go full-Gobi. I will say - you still got a better deal.
The ladder was to heavy for the stock lift supports? I have the same roof basket. Any issues with the ladder with the basket?
The lift supports haven't failed yet but they will. The hatch no longer lifts on its own it's basically brand new. Went to liftsupportsdepot.com part/sku PM1062N10W. Will update later this week. With ladder no interference at all, plenty of room to open does not touch rack. If you decide to add a light bar like I did it or anywhere else it's easy to drill through the aluminum. Before ladder install buy lift supports first.
