4Runner/Tacoma mash up- Keeping it in the family

I know this isn't a 4Runner post but since many of you own Tacomas as well and it involves 5th gen parts I though some of you might be interested. Since I replaced the wheels on my 2013 Trail and had the originals sitting around I thought I'd try them on my 2001 Double Cab TRD Limited Tacoma. Turns out the backspacing is VERY similar and this is with no spacers. Mounted them with a fresh set of Cooper Discoverer AT/3's. I'm really happy with the results.

17x7.5 and I think it's a 4.75 backspacing.

Thanks! I love my 4Runner, but these trucks are awesome too. We bought it in February with 113,000 on it and Toyota replaced the frame in May. A couple of other small things replaced and it's good as new!

Looks great! I have seen these on older Tacomas and always thought they looked good but wondered about the backspacing with larger tires on them. What size tire are you running on them?

I've got a 2003 Tacoma Prerunner and I also have my stock T4R rims so I just might copy you!

I put my summer tires on black steel rims and my winter tires on the alloy rims - I figured since winter is longer up here it made more sense. If it didn't cost $200 to swap tires onto different rims in this neck of the woods, I would have done it already!
