4runner TRD Pro

For those still on the hunt -
Did a cargurus.com search and there are 4 newly listed TRD Pro's for sale in Chicago surrounding areas.

I will take a pic of how the N-FABs are attached to the TRDP. It's too wet and dark right now. I don't think they are designed to be sliders and I should have said body not frame. If you are looking for sliders that can bear the weight of the vehicle these won't work for you. I live in a flat island and will probably not do much serious rock crawling so they meet my needs.

Thanks. Where I live is flat as well. Closest off road trail would be ORV Park in Hot Springs Arkansas. Took my taco there with wife for our first ever off road experience. Needless to say, the wife is convinced now that Toyotas are awesome! I say they're king! Well, need those N-fabs fast cause the wife 5'1 and 5 months prego has trouble climbing in.

Walky Guard pet mod works.

Congrats on the new Pro. Just curious what update you are talking about on the entune. I would believe that it would have the latest update. Wondering if anyone with the Pro is having to update.
You know you have to post a pic or it didn't really happen...

I'll post some pics once I get it cleaned.

I would also think the system would have the latest update, but when I tried to connect my phone an Entune message popped up stating the latest update needed to be loaded. I followed the steps and tried to complete the update. The system will start the download, but it stops at 32% -- every time.

As maddening as this "over the air" update process is, the other features on Entune seem to work: bluetooth, audio over bluetooth, voice dialing, voice GPS, and so on. I don't subscribe to Pandora or the other apps and Bing sucks, so I don't feel like I'm missing anything there.

Nevertheless, when you pay as much as we do for these vehicles you would expect things to just work. I called the dealership and they advised they could perform the update at the shop. I'll have to call back on Monday.

Another method is to allow the owners to obtain the download from the Entune website and load if via USB. But that doesn't appear to be an option.

We'll see how this whole process pans out.

Has anyone else had this issue?

For those wondering, only had to drill one hole. Took about two hours to install and if I never see another stick nut, it will be too soon! The packaging was top notch with foam blown into the box and the fit and finish is outstanding. I keep going out to check them out! Even my wife who normally frowns on such things said "oh yeah, those do look good."

N-Fabs attachment

To clear the confusion this is the location that the N-Fabs connect to the body and not the frame. Weather was much better today.

I had to update mine after bringing it home but it was pretty simple. Worked like a charm the first time....

Same here. It updated during my 10 min drive from dealer to home. Only gripe is I have to turn on the entune app on my phone for the pandora to work.

Remove all that free advertising for Performance and will look money ;-) I hate that shit, especially when it is a bright color of distraction...love the pooches, great dogs!

Took left sticker off and will take off plate as soon as my personalized LP arrives. Didn't think about till I posted photo. Thanks.

Picked mine up today. Traded in my 2012 Tacoma TRD Off road 4 door that I thought was keeping til the wheels fell off... This 4Runner was too much for me to resist.

Only dealer that not only didn't mark it up but took 2k off msrp!!

All CA dealers I spoke with wouldn't even take a penny off the mark up
