New 2017 TRD Pro

South Bay Toyota sells for MSRP, I bought my trail teams Fj from them for sticker and I am on a wait for a TRDP for the same deal. Also, I heard that either Claremont or Montclare Toyota is getting a white one in the next three weeks and it is unsold. They too are selling for sticker. I have found plenty of places around SoCal that are not jacking up the price, problem is they don't have any allocation on this last order.

I just purchased a 2017 TRD Pro in Cement last night. Should arrive in about 10 days. Got it for MSRP in southern Cal.

They should definitely have a VIN if it was ordered then and "here soon".

However, if they haven't been allocated one yet, then I am not sure if they will have a VIN, YET.

I put my deposit down in August, allocation confirmed in Sepember, received VIN late November

Okay thank you. I'm going to press them to show me the info and if they can't I'm going elsewhere.

I put a deposit down two weeks ago and my dealer guided to 2-3 months. I got a call today saying it won't be available until end of the summer. Can someone explain to me if this par for the course?

I was getting the same from the Bay Area dealers and was even told by one that they might even sell theirs to the highest offer... lucky I found Antioch Toyota and today I went to pick it up. Got it at msrp. [emoji1417]

First "mod" lol, as soon as I got home from Dealer. There is no other chrome on the truck, not sure why they didn't just come blacked out. This is the overlay kit from TRDparts4u, didn't want to mess with taking off and painting, or plasticdiping. Took me 5 minutes of prep and Voila:

I've never used Plasti Dip before, but wonder if the same effect can be achieved with it in lieu of buying this overlay. Looks great nonetheless, but kind of expensive!

Dealer told me 2-3 weeks for VIN, late feb and early March for delivery. Hope that's the truth. Theybshowed me a spec sheet with all the items and add ons

Ordered mine in October and dealer won't tell me anything but its going to be here soon. Can every dealer see this tracking system? I've asked for a VIN and dates with no luck.

Did you put down a deposit? Did they tell you they allocated one for you?
Don't rely on VIN #'s, i was given one, then was provided a new one. Total wait time was like 3-4months. If you put down the deposit and they told you they allocated one for you, then just have some patience. You can also confirm with Toyota of America, they will help you with the dealer.

I would call the number I provided, they will you get the answers you are looking for from the dealer. This way you know you are not waiting for nothing, and you will get your confirmation that one is allocated for you. Once you determine that, then the waiting game begins, but atleast you know its coming.

down on one. That was last May.
Talked to him a couple weeks ago and he still has no info on when or if a Cement Pro is coming my way.
I have seen some posts about dealerships in CA selling for way above MSRP.
Has anyone actually paid more then MSRP?

please find a new dealer, I literally contacted my local dealer thursday and was driving my new cement pro 10 days later with no wait, no deposit bs, maybe I got lucky, but I think you should look elsewhere.

Ps, I am not sure anyone would admit to paying over MSRP, I still feel bummed I didn't get Invoice pricing(thats what I paid for my new Wrangler 4 years ago) but this truck is hot and the dealers have no incentive to budge on price.
