4runner TRD Pro

I got my SR5 after the TRD pro came out and since im still not happy with the front grille specially when you view it from far, I thought I would try to copy the cosmetic aspects of the tRD pro. so heres my questions:
1.) what is the tire size of the TRD Pro tire ?? is it wider than the stock tire ?

2.) Bilstein shocks on the trd pro is 5100? or doesnt matter as long as its bilstein ?

3.) did they also put wheel spacers on the TRD pro ?? how many inches is it ?

4.) anyone has an estimate how many plasti-dip cans I will need to paint the two horizontal parts of the grille to get that trd pro grille look ??

Looks like more than cosmetics you want to copy. Why not just get the Pro since it was available at the time of your purchase?

Pacho, check out Mooney's 4R TRP. In my opinion he built a better TRD Pro.

Congrats and looks good! Don't let other people influence your decision on the pinstripe. It does break up ALL the black and compliments the red springs and center caps nicely in my opinion. And if you get bored, could always plastidip the front Toyota and rear 4Runner red maybe...

I agree, when done properly I like a pinstripe... I think the understated simple red looks nice and compliments the truck well.

Got my 4Runner TRD Pro on Wednesday of this past week. Love it. Lots of random complements and finger pointing type ooohhs and aaahhhs. Between the time I first looked at it and picked it up the dealer did a dirty trick and put a pinstripe on it. At first I thought I would make them take it off, but it's red and kind of understated. Thoughts?

(yes I did plasti dip the chrome rear badge so it matches the front 'TOYOTA' lettered one)

I too bought plastidip in advance in order to do the rear to match the front. What color shade did you buy? I went with DYC grey metalic flake, as I thought this would match the best with the front...

I got the off the shelf Gunmetal grey. The color match is not 100%... but it's close. Not sure I could have done better with the custom kit.

Also a word of advice. Make sure you want to plastidip the back. The toothpick trick will be needed as the lettering is bit tight in places... and also to get a starting place in the toyota emblem. Even with a soft toothpick this will scar the underlying black plastic background just a bit. This is not a problem on automotive painted steel parts where other badges are, but the badges mounted on the plastic will have this issue. Minor point, just wanted you to know.

Interesting to see how the ARB works on a short rack since I was thinking of getting one and was wondering what it would look like.

Yeah... no steps! Or as said, maybe they are removable which might be nice.

I'd take that skid plate any day - Very sweet IMO. Looks like it is easier to remove than the stock skid (at least easier than the SR5 skids with the 2 other pieces you have to remove first, no?). Would that TRD Skid bolt up to a '13 SR5?
