Got mine back in Oct. I'm getting the clunking noise up front. Going to dealer tomorrow. Getting worse. Anyone else get an acceptable answer on this issue yet?

Can you get a TRD Pro with the 3rd row seat? Also, are these still 100% made in Japan?
You can not get a 3rd row in the TRD Pro, and yes the 4Runners are made in Japan still. Just got word today mine began its journey across the pond, can't wait!

Another NOVA guy here. It seems in the last week at least 4 TRD PROs were sold in the Northern Virginia area: packman's, blacksheep4's, another inferno sold by Koons Tysons which I missed out on evidently by minutes, and this one. That's my son in the photo. He's starting to drive which made a great excuse to get back into Toyota 4X4's.
another NOVA guy here. i just got mine last monday.
all the inferno red TRD PROs sold in NOVA came on the same vessle arrived in Baltimore this month.
Koons were selling their Inferno red above MSRP which is bullshit. I got mine from alexandria Jack taylor for a price well below MSRP
I also talked to lustine toyota but they only have white and i wanted inferno red. There were 1 inferno red for each dealership in NOVA area allocated, i called every single dealer but only alexandria dealer were willing to sell it below MSRP.

Yea, my good Japanese friend is also annoyed that it is referred to as the "teq" logo.
EXTREMELY happy with this thing! While I haven't had it out on the dirt yet I am already so impressed with the suspension. This could be the best factory released "off-road" suspension ever!
Thank you! The fender trimming was harder to find than I had expected. I thought for sure I was going to walk right up to it and see it and this was not the case. I had to get down close to the front portion of the fender well and take a good look. Even then, it is tough to see since it blends in with the black of the fender well.

I'm waiting on my TRDP and curious about this as well. I tend to haul a lot of heavy gear and there's nothing I hate more than a saggy bottom. Anyone have ideas on this topic? I've read plenty of post about Toytec and springs in general but I'm specifically wondering if I can swap some new springs with the existing rear springs, all while not sacrificing ride quality and performance.

Lol that was me who got it from Koons. I wasn't too happy how much they were charging over msrp but considering how hard it was to get an inferno and how we were all racing to get there, I'm pretty happy with mine. My local dealer was giving me the run around for months saying they "ordered one under my name" yet never took a deposit even though I offered to put money down to ensure it was mine. Good thing my Koons guy filled me in that they can't really be personally ordered rather allocated to dealerships. My local guy had a white one 2 months ago but I wasn't feeling it. I didn't want drive it always feeling is rather have an inferno. That's how I felt when I bought my limited in 2010 when I really wanted a trail.

there were at least 5 inferno red on the same vessle arrived in Jan, i called every dealer around NOVa and koons is the only one charging over msrp
Ha, I did not even think about getting a 4Runner until a couple of days before that. I also was ignorant about Toyotathon. So I moseyed on in that morning thinking I was not going to have competition. I didn't like the idea of paying over MSRP either. I've had some rare cars. Never had to pay over. Congrats to you for getting what you wanted. That color is pretty amazing in person. But in the end, I am very happy with the white. I might even say I like the white as much as I like the inferno.
Have you considered putting in an after market sun roof? I ordered my Inferno yesterday and the sales guy was telling me about their experience with it. I'll post about it.

I'm stoked to say that I ordered my TRD Pro in Inferno yesterday! I was able to get about $1,600 below MSRP so I'm pretty happy about that.
I ended up contacting various dealers within an hour radius of me via chat / online forms. I let them know I was looking for their best out the door price. I was pleasantly surprised about the positive responses I got. (Except for the one that wrote me to say "I don't think they make the 4Runner in the TRD Pro.)
Multiple dealers got back to me with prices and no BS sales tactics. One dealer had the car in their allocation but wanted about $3,000 more than the other. He was a good guy to deal with, but in the end, I couldn't justify the extra money just to get it 6-8 weeks earlier. They were a "one easy price" dealer but they didn't agree with me that it would be "easy" for them to meet the other offers. I'm sure they'll get what they want for it.
SUNROOF question:
So I happened to tell the sales guy, right before I left, that I was bummed that I couldn't get this with a sunroof. He told me, "just put one in, we do it all the time". I told him I've only heard bad things about that. He said they work with a reputable vendor who has a service counter right there in their building. I'm considering it but I need to do research to find out if I'm an idiot for thinking about it. Anyone out there ever done that?
He walked me over to that service bay area to show me the after market stuff and BAM – the EXACT car was sitting there in all its glory! Right down to the Inferno color. It ended up coming in and was in a prep bay waiting for the owner to pick it up. The sales guy was as surprised as me.
It was #$%&ing stunning.
