Got some good camping in at Catskills NY... Now off to Alleghany national forest in PA, more pics to come ...

So sick, I need that tent setup in my life :fishing:

I just ordered the Canvasback, but went with the 24" bumper cover...I am second guessing myself after seeing your 20" though! Does your TRD have the sliding cargo deal? I do, and measured from it, but am wondering if it's going to be stupid-long?!?! Maybe it's not too late to change my order...

No, I don't have the tray so maybe your 24" will be fine? You could probably exchange it if it is too long as it is a separate piece.

Has anyone installed Spidertrax spacers 1.25" yet? I installed mine on Friday. Completely stock TRD PRO otherwise. I'm already rubbing at full turn (it's a small rub, but noticeable when backing out of a parking spot). Looks like a BMC in my near future.

Question for Pro Owners...

Hey Guys,
Just picked up my white Pro last week, bitter sweet day as I traded my '03 limited in, loved that truck... And one of the things that struck me as odd was the clock was not the multi-function display as I remembered seeing on reviews, etc. I figured this was just me remembering incorrectly but in noticing some other interior shots, it looks like even the Trail Premiums got the multi-function display, and only the SR5s are stuck with the stand alone clock...

My question to you new pro owners, is what display do you have in your truck, stand alone clock, or multi-function? (See photos below for reference.)

SR5, this is what I have...

They changed that in 2015, only the 2014 Trails had the multi function stuff in that display area ( I think). In 2015 all the trim lines (SR5, Pro, Trail, limited) get only the clock with all other information being displayed in the center screen of the Odometer/gauge cluster. This is all referring to the 2014+ set ups, not sure what the pre 14 set ups were like other then orange

Trim the area of the mud flap that covers the body mount. That may be all that is needed. I first removed the whole mud flap, but then trimmed it, reinstalled it, and all is fine on level surfaces. It may rub a bit if not level, but it is just the rubber flap so not too concerned. Trim a little at a time so it still hangs together and looks good. Or you could completely remove the mud flap and see if it no longer rubs.

^ This. I had my dealer remove my mud flaps before delivery. Just personal preference, I dont like them.
I have the spidertrax and no rubbing anywhere.

Lucky! My dealer wouldn't remove anything. But it was a truck already on the lot. So I couldn't make any changes.

Looks like I'll be removing them ASAP. Thanks for the help.

Hi All and Probos,

I made an account with Youtube and the link to the video is below. The noise comes from the engine/drivetrain area and is loudest on the front passenger side. I'm interested if the noise is in other TRDPs on this site and if it's normal as the dealer indicates. They gave me Toyota's engineering phone # as they said it sounds normal like the others on the lot and unless it keeps getting louder nothing further will be done.

Thanks!

yes, i have both the 1.25" spidertraxx and the toytech 3/4" top plate spacer installed.

i had to trim the inside of each of the front fenders to alleviate the rub you've mentioned at full lock.

Bump. Does anyone's TRDPro or TE have a similar noise to the one I taped?

Was hoping to get some feedback before following up with Toyota directly or trying a different dealer.
