4runner TRD Pro

Spacer Kit

What's the best way to lift the front a bit higher?

The easiest way is this:
Front Top Plate Spacer Kit
Or two of these:
Front Top Plate Spacer (One - 1/4")

The first will make it level to maybe a hair nose high depending on how much gas is in the tank.(this is just my opinion)
The second will make it a hair nose low. So a little rake to it. This is what I have.
Most have had no alignment problems and install isn't too bad at all for either. Ride is the same in my opinion. It just looks a little better.

Wonder if anyone has experimented with combination of spacers & adjusting to top notch on passenger side.

Several months ago a couple of guys said their Pros came with both sides on the top notch. They then claimed they added the two small spacers to each side and the truck was level side to side. I am still skeptical.

That is interesting and I like that idea as well. A bit expensive. Do you have this installed on your 4Runner?
I'm no suspension genius. Does it replace the large clips that the springs are perched on and thus adding the inch?

No, I have Bilstein 6112's in the front, on a Trail Edition, which is the same shock in every way except valving. I hit the height I wanted with the 6112's, but I would have used those if the need had arisen.

And yes, it replaces the shorter perches that come on the Bilstein PRO shocks.

A nice way to attack the problem, IMHO ..

I dislike the spacer on top of the complete assembly less. Turns out my dog likes the trd pro a lot more than my raptor.

I'll be in this chat soon enough with much much joy. Treated myself and ordered a 2016 TRD PRO in white from my dealer. Hope late September or October for it! I feel this will be a real pleasure to drive after my 3rd Gen.

For anyone that removed the front plate mount. What did you do with the holes?I would like to replace the plastic panel unless you all have a better solution.

Congratulations! I am in the same boat and waiting for my magnetic gray 2016. Keep me posted if you receive any updates on the delivery date.

Gobi rack, lights, and cargo nets all came in at the same time! Great way to start the weekend.
Kid tested!

Here is a shot of us coming down the "steps" on Black Bear Pass during the FJ Summit a couple of weeks ago. Even though we had the added weight of a RTT, roof rack, sliders and cargo, the stock suspension handled everything with grace!
