listen, you don't own a TRD nor do you know anyone that has mounted one of those bumpers, correct? That being said we can go around and around and you are mostly likely correct that everything is the same but until someone reports here they had no issues it doesn't matter what either of us post. You are not going to convince me they are exactly the same and I am not trying to convince you they aren't.

The TRD bumper and grill is different than the regular 4runners. Again, that doesn't mean they aren't 100% interchangeable.

I do appreciate your opinion but it's simply that, an opinion..for now..and I do hope you are correct!

It isn't OPINION it is FACT. The only thing difference is the cut of the upper grill and the garnish! neither of which come into play for a bumper, both of which are 100% interchangeable without any modifications. You can either believe that or you can chase the fuqqin rainbow farting unicorns around the interwebz.

and no, I do not think mine is so special. I didn't feel like doing a bunch of mods to make a regular one off-road worthy so I bought a TRD

And to think all I ever wanted to know is if somebody here mounted one yet..

I'm sure all the mounting points are the same. It's the plastic pieces I'm concerned about.

There are at least four 5th gens (that I have seen here) that have put the "TOYOTA" grill on their 2014+ SR5's or Trail models.

Wow you are giving TRDP owners a wonderful rep. :thumb: No one is "trolling" this thread. The only one upset here is you. I personally come here to see what people are doing to their TRD's because I am curious. Just as I visit most 5th gen threads. Am I not a "pro" or an "expert" but I have owned Toyota trucks for the last 25+ years, done my own maintenance and repairs, I can capably do everything myself.

I am sorry if you think this thread is a TRD Pro owner world alone.

I see someone stating things that just plainly aren't true and simply attempt to clarify. Think or research before you type and people won't correct you, in turn you won't get butthurt, then others will join in the conversation and be constructive.

You should consider keeping the name calling to yourself.

Even the SR5 "regular one" is perfectly capable off road. Ask me how I know. Get a set of tires and done. No need to pay extra for the TuRD.

this is a PRO thread. The Forum covers all models all years.... don't be mad at us cause your father left and your mom doesn't hug you. Skip the bumper and just mount a unicorn horn on the hood:thumb:
