4runner TRD Pro

For those that have installed the Spidertrax on the TRDP, was the fender liner an issue with this model?

My apologies in advance if this was mentioned before, but after an hour of changing how/what I am searching for to no reward, it's simply easier to ask.

I did the same thing as DEERUNNER and finally just took the front mud flaps completely off because I was still rubbing on them at full lock in reverse. Now I just get an occasional rub on the front but nothing major.

Im sure this question has been asked before.

A co-worker and i are having a small disagreement right now regarding ride heights from the SR5 vs Trail vs TRD Pro.

I have seen a TRD pro and think they do in fact sit higher due to the TRD suspension upgrade from that of other models. He thinks they sit the same 35" from the ground to the wheel well Front and 37" rear.

We have a coffee bet going on right now so its getting pretty serious... :dancin:

I searched, google and couldnt come up with a true answer.

Mind you I know there are 2 clip positions on the strut so lets take it from the highest clip position :bigok:

Just got back from the dealer. Finally sold my Hummer H2 and put a deposit on a '16 Super White TRD PRO with the sliding rear cargo deck and running boards. Should be in mid to late Nov. Can't wait! It's my first 4Runner and me and the fam are excited!!
Mid to late November would be awesome. I ordered mine AUG 28th and just picked it up yesterday (NOV 3rd). Took about 10 weeks.

There are several more if you search "Trd pro front height measure" and do some sifting.

Congrats!

I guess this was an allocation for the dealer that was in the process of being built and had the options I wanted. No extra port installed accessories either.
Guess it was built the day I put the deposit down according to the dealer?

Traded my 2015 Tacoma TRD Pro inferno for this 2015 T4R TRD Pro.

I got rub on L and R fender liners. A few minutes with a heat gun solved the issue -- I flattened out the little bulges where the tire was contacting. This is with stock wheels/tires. I've also got some flat, rally-style mudflaps I'm going to test fit soon.

This post is going to cost me money.

Me too, actually. But not a lot of money thankfully. :D I have been following that thread from the beginning and it looks like a decent little kit. I'm glad simonsays jumped on it so quick so we could all see the results for a while. This may be my 20th anniversary present..ha. We'll see.

I also like this kit a lot. I have the ToyTec front spacers on now to level the front a bit and I like it. I'd like to do this kit to raise all four corners but I'm worried that when I get a Gobi it won't fit in the garage with that lift and rack combo. Tuff first world problems in know, lol.

TRD Pro KDSS

I was wondering if the TRD Pro has KDSS. I was watching a video on youtube and the Toyota rep in the video said yes it does but the dealers I went to all said that it does not. Anyone know who is correct? The Toyota website says not available on the TRD Pro. The video was review the vehicle on an off road trail and the rep was in the passenger seat talking about all the capabilities/technologies.

No KDSS on the Pro. No sunroof either just in case that was your next question.

Did it have a gobi rack and 40" Rigid light bar on it?

No rack/lights, but it had a snowboard/ski rack on it (with boards). Brand new with temp tags on it, but some stickers on the driver's side rear side window. I caught up to it around Georgetown and it dropped off at Silverthorn. Between my window tint and his, I couldn't really see the driver, but I did my best to smile and drive.

I have seen a few in town lately. If you see one with the previously mentioned wallet killers and some rocky sliders that is most likely mine. I was skeptical of the color at first but its grown on me.

Maybe it's my ocd but does the polished silver that is really out of place on the pro bother anyone else? I took care of the rails and exhaust tip with powdercoating black just have the badges on back to go and I'm tempted to take the lights apart and fix those silver strips above the lights. Has anyone tried that?
