4runner TRD Pro

i've been on the fence on which sliders to get, but i narrowed it down to SHROCKWORKS and DEMELLO.

I was going to go with SHROCKWORKS, but their wait time is 10-12 weeks. And from what I've read online, it can take even longer than that sometimes. Thats just a huge pain in the a$$.

So I decided today to go with Demellos. Got super fired up and excited about it. Bolt ons for 534 and powder coated.

Got to the checkout page and they want $184 for shipping. This seriously annoyed me enough to want to go back to SHROCKWORKS, but the SHROCKWORKS page isn't clear as to what shipping will be.

Does anyone have any insight? Is $184 for shipping nuts? seems to be, to me.

Anyone have SHROCKWORKS sliders? what was the shipping and wait time.

I just ordered sliders from C4Fabrication.com and shipping was $150. If you haven't checked out these sliders I highly recommend them. I called to order the sliders just over a week ago and Caleb has made them and just shipped them out today. He was great to work with and even sent progress pics as he put the sliders together. The photos were great because I had asked him to do a little custom addition to the sliders. They are bare metal from C4. So, I am going to be able to get them coated just how I want once they get here.

Welcome! Enjoy your new rig. I got my Mag Grey TRD Pro about a month ago. According to the dealer there arent many of our color pro rolling around yet. Cool to see youre in the Bay Area also. Where abouts?

Thanks much! Yeah, I have seen tons of the white ones around. I would have gone that way but my Tacoma Baja is white so I went Mag Grey.

Figured I would try here in this thread....anyone know of a 2016 Quicksand on a dealer lot west of the Mississippi? Nothing up here in the NW (Seattle and 5 state area), and thought before ordering one (8-12 weeks I am gathering), perhaps there was one out there...and road trip it on home.



Just asking, maybe find an early Christmas present for myself.

I live in Alabama and ended up finding one in El Paso Texas, happy hunting friend. They are out there.

What is the current, aproximate wait time between order and arrival? Local dealer is telling me 4 to 6 months. Seems a little excessive.

Just insight, I put my deposit down on a Super White 2016 TRD Pro on September 11th, 2015. I'm still waiting.

My dealer called me today and told me that their Toyota distributor 'picked up' the order today.

I have no idea what that means, he told me it'd probably be another month.

Oh well, my trade in vehicle is just increasing it's positive equity value the longer I wait allegedly. So it's whatever.

Dumb question.. just heard today the the TRD Pro doesn't come with the sunroof option. Is this accurate?

Correct. NO sun/moon roof on the TRD-P.
The factory pilot truck ( Inferno ) had one, but no off the line production trucks do. They are available aftermarket through Toyota. One member here has one.

Nope not me, but I'm looking to buy a gobi stealth rack. I'm actually in the South Bay in San Jose, but occasionally make my way up there. Next time I'll let you know.

Theres one at Michael's Toyota in Bellevue right now.....but my buddy is on his way up to make a deal on it lol.

EDIT: Just read that you said it was sold, my buddy talked to a guy this AM and he said it was still available.

Well, that truck had a SOLD tag on the rear view mirror on Sunday morning when I was there in person, and the sales guy I am working with there is looking for one for me....so I am pretty certain that one was sold. It was great, no options, no accessories (just floor mats). VIN ended in 14 the one I saw in person, so seems like the same truck.

Cheers Popey for the lead! Just spoke to them, that truck sold yesterday as well...I think I'll hold tight this week to see if something pops up on a lot or in the system, and then after that, I will just order one up and wait.

Nice! There is someone on CL who just bought a Mag Grey Pro who is selling their OEM roof rack (cheaply I might add) because they just got a Gobi.

Here's my Pro. Windows are getting tinted tomorrow and then Saturday morning....I am off for a 3 week road trip, probably will come back with 4,5k miles! Hahaha.

I bought my TRD PRO on Monday. Can somebody confirm that only the front mats have "TRD PRO" logo, but the rear are regular plain? (Not a deal killer, but I start thinking mine were swapped at dealership).

I have been looking at the Pro's since last year but didn't like the colors offered. I fell in love with my granite crystal metallic Jeep and when I heard they were producing the Pro in Mag Grey I couldn't resist. Both are very similar in color and appearance.

So mine will arrive on the 23rd. After seeing your post I wanted to look on my invoice. They listed Rigid Running Boards ($345) and All Weather Mats/Cargo Tray ($200), is what you are say is that these should not be added prices?

Running boards and all weather mats are additional. They have it correct.
